Conclusion
After you have completed this project, you should understand the significant debate that took place leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It should open some questions to think about what happened leading up to the war. What was the atmosphere like in the colonies overall and in each particular region? What might have been different if Dickinson would have had more support? You should realize that everyone didn't come to a full consensus on every matter and in fact many people throughout the colonies never wanted to secede at all. The goal of this project was to help each student gain more in-depth knowledge of the process that led to America's Revolution. I hope it did just that.
